When Collaborating, the users with whom you are sharing content may not have the same security permissions as you.

Some dashboard objects are filtered by user and group.  When you share a dashboard that you both have permission to view, the dashboard objects are presented to the other user(s) as you the controller would see them.  

Collaborating users cannot, however, see dashboards that they would not normally have permission to see.
