The following link to the online Help manual shows the Mail settings screen

Emails not being sent out is not necessarily an issue with DataPA.

To track down possible causes the following items would be a good starting point.

  1. Check the Scheduler log file, and/or the Windows event Viewer, wither of these may give a hint to why mail may not have been sent. It would be worth setting verbose on for a short time which should give more details of the scheduler's processing
  2. If the mail was working and then has stopped sending mail then
    • Check if the Email system has been changed in any way
    • Check the user credentials of the User entered in the Scheduler setup. ( Maybe a user/password changed has caused the issue)
    • Check that the mail server can still be seen from the scheduler server.

In the event of a mail failure the Scheduler Log file outputs information relating to the failure in the format:-
