Sometimes a query will return unexpected results or not run at all. There is a debug option that allows you to run a query with debug mode on. This will cause DataPA to create messages in the AppServer log file detailing every step of processing the query.


To turn debug mode on, follow these steps:

  1. Open the query in the DataPA Excel Add In.
  2. Press the hidden debug button in the bottom right corner of the Add In screen.
  3. Run the query.


Results

  1. DataPA will add detailed logging to the AppServer log file.
