It is possible to organise gauges side by side by setting the section of the report to have multiple Columns. A short video is available here that shows the steps.

1. Open the Group Options Dialog. Select the 'Section Options' Tab. Select the Section you want to have the gauges in ( Detail in my case). On the Left hand side of the dialog at the bottom there are options to select the number of columns and the direction that the columns get populated. I selected 3 columns and populate ' Across and Down'. Close the Dialog.

2. The Detail Section on the designer is now partially greyed out ( In my case with 3 columns the left third is enabled. Add the controls / fields to the enabled section. Preview the report.
