Applicable Versions: 6.0 onwards

For security reasons, we no longer encourage anonymous access to DataPA Enterprise if User Security is applied.

If you are hosting DataPA Enterprise privately, or you were previously using this setting and must have it re-enabled, you may enable anonymous access by creating or amending the file 'enterprise.cfg' in your Common Applicaton Directory (usually C:\Program Data\DataPA).  Add the property 'AllowAnonymousAccess' and set it to true.  The contents of the file should look something like this:

   AllowAnonymousAccess: true

Once this file has been created or amended, restart the DataPA Enterprise Service, and also IIS (or the DataPA application pool).

Note, that if hosting on a publicly-available web server, we strongly recommend that you apply User Security to keep the contents of DataPA Enterprise secure.
